If only from misunderstanding, going to these people can sometimes make the situation worse. It seems that "the other dude" is an example of said type, and I can only hope that his family and friends seek help elsewhere. I used to think that I had the answer to any question I could come across in life at the tips of my fingertips, that I could find it through my own means or by simply asking for revelation.
